Singers who are enrolled in una voce musica or Canterra Musica have the opportunity to join our Touring Ensemble. Each summer, Oberlin Choristers tours domestically or internationally, providing an unmatched learning and performing experience.
Our 2019 Touring Ensemble will travel to Montreal & Quebec City, Canada from June 16th through June 22nd. They will perform in Montreal under the direction of Elena Sharkova and in Quebec City under the direction of Mr. Tim Unger.

Tim Unger is the Choral Director, Department Chair, and Director of the School of Fine Arts at Lake Ridge Academy. His choral responsibilities include running the Middle and Upper School choral programs, including curricular and extra-curricular ensembles, and acting as musical director for the stage productions put on by the Fine Arts Department. Tim has worked extensively in the Edmonton, Alberta choral community, working with several community choirs and music programs there as well as with numerous groups in Cincinnati including the Cincinnati Children’s Choir and the University of Cincinnati Choruses. He holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Music Education from Baldwin Wallace University.
Rehearsals will take place at Lake Ridge Academy, Bettcher Center on Tuesday evenings April 30th through June 11th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Touring Ensemble wears the same formal uniform as una voce musica.
Touring Ensemble singers will receive a special 2019 Montreal/Quebec City t-shirt as part of their informal uniform.
All payments are due by February 15th. Please refer to the payment scheudle included in your tour information.
