Dulcis Musica Oberlin

Dulcis Musica (Latin for Sweet Music) is a preparatory choir for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grades. Using Kodály methods for teaching young voices, singers develop skills of pitch matching and recognition, music literacy, and begin to build healthy vocal tone. During weekly rehearsals, singing and movement activities are intertwined for an engaging and fun learning environment.

Dulcis conductors are master music educators who teach through a variety of strategies and activities designed to engage the whole child - body, mind, and spirit. Each singer is unique and Chorister conductors support that unique development at every level.

This choir rehearses in two separate sections (Oberlin and North Ridgeville). The two sections perform together in an average of 3 concerts per year.

The Oberlin section of Dulcis Musica rehearses on:

Tuesdays, 5:15-6:00pm September to May
